Alessandro Petacchi (Lampre-Farnese Vini) illuminated the opening week of the 2003 Tour de France with four dominant stage wins. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since that centenary Tour seven years ago, but the big man from La Spezia continues to crank out the 💃victories. The Gentleman Sprinter returns to France this year looking to clock up some more podium appearances and he willl be aiming to battle it out for the green jersey all the way to Paris.
