"So I tried to stay calm and then close to the top I attacked myself. I got caught on the last descent, but I think I go꧑t the maximum out of the day."

"The pink is a special jersey, something you dream of, for a cyclist is🅷 the best. I will have a memory about this for the rest of my life."

Leknessund recognised that he had no idea how long he could stay in pink, but he promised he would defend it for as l🅷ong as possible.

 "For sure I'm not a big threat long-term and hopefully the GC teams will be happy with me having it. Jus🌳t having the lead for one stage is already a success."

And come what may in the Giro and in his career, now Leknessund has already made some 𒆙♛cycling history, too.
