UCI considers stricter hormone requirements for transgender female athletes

The UCI has announced that it could introduce 168澳洲5最新开奖结果:new guidelines for the eligibility of transgender female athletes competing in cycling events beginning in 2020. The guidelines could stipulate a maximum testosterone thresholdꦅ of 5 nanomoles per litre (nmol/L), which is half of the current maximum threshold of 10 nmol/L, for transgender females to be eligible to compete in the women's category. The new regulations will be discussed internally 𒁃and are pending approval from UCI Management Committee.

The decision was reac🌟hed following the recent International in Lausanne, Switzerland, on October 19.
