Brunner opened a seven-second gap on the opening lap of the eight-lap race and ♑was then consistently 🐟faster as he dominated the different obstacles of the course.
He finished w꧂ith a final lap time of 7:52, to win ahead of Funston by almo🔜st two minutes. Funston finished 17 seconds ahead of Hecht to secure the silver medal.
