At the age of 28 in 2024, Norwegian Jonas Abrahamsen struck for a breakout season. His Uno-X Mobility ProTeam accepted a wildcard entry into the Tour de France for a second year and he struck🐷 on the opening day in Bilbao to claim the polka-dot jersey. On stage 2 he finished second into Bologna, boosted his 𒉰mountains classification lead and took the lead in the points classification as well. He would hold onto both classification leads for five days.

Born September 20, 1995, Abrahamsen moved to the Uno-X organisation in 2017 after two years with smaller Norwegian road teams. He spent three seasons on the development squad and then made the move to the ProTeam in 2020, winning a stage and the climber's jers𓆏ey at Tour of Malopolska. 

Known moreꦚ as a one-day specialist, Abrahamsen began t෴o grow with tactical prowess and all-around abilities, so was added to many of the team's rosters for one-week stage races.

In 20🦄23 Uno-X competed at their first Tour de France, and Abrahamsen contributed the team's second podium at that Grand Tour on stage 18 in Bourg-en-Bress, going third in a bunch sprint ahead of points leader Jasper Philipsen.

In addition to his success at the Tour de France the next year, he won Brussels Cycling Classic, took second at Dwars door Vlaanderenꦉ and Dwars door het Hageland.
